Its that time again ladies. Time to look back on your year and realise just how far you have come, or in fact, if you didn’t quite take those steps forward you really wanted too. There’s really no point getting organised for a new year with new goals and dreams if you don’t close out your current year first. So lets have a look at 2021: your year in review.
You need to be honest with yourself and answer questions like:
- What did you do well?
- What didn’t work?
- What did you achieve?
- What mistakes did you make?
- What do you want to do differently?
Looking at your year in review is going to change the way you think about yourself, what you have done, what you want to achieve for the coming year and more importantly HOW you are going to do it.
I want you to get to the end of 2022 and know that…
- You have put yourself first
- You believe you are worthy
- You know you are capable
- You have accomplished what you wanted
- You are happy
It really is that simple.
I recently re-read a post I wrote last year on the same subject and I was, I have to say – really proud of myself and what I was able to achieve. I followed these same principles and now at the end of 2021 I can honestly say I have had a GREAT year.
Did I do everything I set out to? No I didn’t.
Did everything go to plan? No it didn’t.
Was everything perfect? No it wasn’t.
However…
Did I put myself first? Yes I did.
Did I believe I was worthy? Yes I did.
Did I know I was capable? Yes I did.
Am I happy? Yes I am!
This being so, I thought I would share what I did and how I came to be at this point, so I’ve created a workbook with everything I did, thought, used and pondered over the year in the hope that you too can use it to help you see where you are in your life’s journey and, if you are not quite where you want to be, how you can change it.

In order to properly set your vision and plan your goals and successes, you need to be intentional. That means not only writing a list of things you want to do, but digging a little deeper and looking at who you want to be, what you want to make of yourself and the legacy you want to leave behind. By doing this you can then create the pathway forward for yourself and have a proper understanding of WHY you are doing it. This will be the catalyst that truly spurs you on.
When you do this review of your 2021 year, be honest, put aside the negative thoughts and focus on yourself, you are more likely to head into 2022 with an intentional and purposeful frame of mind.
